This journal is an information‑gathering tool to support parents and carers when a young person is finding eating hard, feels distressed around food, or struggles with regulating eating.
As part of our preparation for the conference, I also developed three information-gathering templates (a huge thank you to Helen for her feedback and insights for these too). These are designed to help parents, carers, and education staff track symptoms, spot patterns, and build a clearer picture of a young person’s needs. These templates can also strengthen advocacy in healthcare settings by making the realities of day-to-day experiences more visible.
