Rhythm of the Night: Looking at Sleep & Supporting Your Young Person

Sleep doesn’t begin at bedtime. For neurodivergent young people, sensory experiences, nervous system regulation, relationships and everything that happens throughout the day can all shape what happens overnight.

In this webinar, we’ll explore what sleep can look like for neurodivergent young people, moving beyond one-size-fits-all sleep strategies. We’ll consider common sleep differences and challenges, explore questions such as “What should sleep look like?” and “Do we need a bedtime routine?”, and think about how regulation, mental health and individual needs shape our approach.

Together, we’ll focus on personalised, supportive strategies that respond to the young person rather than expecting them to fit a particular model of sleep. Attendees will also receive additional resources to help put the learning into practice at home.
