Rhythm of the Night: Looking at Sleep and the Body Clock
Sleep difficulties are a common experience in the autistic community, yet mainstream advice often overlooks the deeper reasons behind these challenges. In Rhythm of the Night, we’ll explore how our body clocks (circadian rhythms) influence sleep and how factors like anxiety, racing thoughts and burnout can disrupt our sleep-wake cycle. Importantly, we will also look at possible reasons why it feels so hard to get up in the morning and offer insights into what might help.
