Workshop Write Up
This webinar helps you understand dyspraxia and how the body and mind work together in your child’s everyday life. We’ll explore how movement, coordination, organisation, and confidence are linked. And we’ll also discuss why these differences sometimes overlap with other neurodivergences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia. With so many acronyms and terms out there (DCD, SPD, ADHD, ASD), it can feel overwhelming. We’ll make sense of what they mean and how they connect. In addition, our discussion will also turn towards how do we discuss dyspraxia with our young people and how to advocate in school and healthcare settings for diagnosis, support and accommodations.
